Later in 1982 the company got it best shares of Sitca Corporations from the Northwest investor. In 1985 the Anthony industries, Inc purchase it 100 percent stock of Sitca. This is how the K2 Company becomes part of Anthony industries. 

The head quarter of the K2 is located in Carlsbad, California. The chairman and CEO of the company is Richard j. Heckmann. The director of the K2 is Dan Quayle and the employees of the company are about 4,700. The company produces athletic shoes, apparel and sports equipments accessories. The Company products are available under the different brand name such as K2, Oline, Stearns, and Planet Earth, Liquid, marrow, 5150, Hilton and Diana designs.
